Environmental sustainability, social sustainability, and corporate sustainability are the three pillars of JPT’s sustainability strategy. We have set clear goals to protect the climate and environment, engage in social and public welfare initiatives, and operate our business responsibly.

  • Our Commitment to Mitigating Climate Change

    JPT actively responds to China’s “Dual Carbon” strategy by building a green operation system that covers the entire value chain and drives low-carbon transformation across the industry.

  • Carbon Reduction Achievements in 2024

    Through the combined operation of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage, we reduced carbon emissions by 1,560.7 tons throughout the year — equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of 625 acres of forest or taking 3,000 gasoline vehicles off the road for one day.

Towards a Sustainable Future: JPT’s Commitments and Actions

JPT fully recognizes the importance of sustainable development. We are systematically building our own sustainability strategy by refining our governance framework, setting clear action goals, and aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At present, we are focusing our efforts on three core pillars: green operations and innovation, community empowerment and inclusion, and the promotion of public health. Leveraging our technological expertise, we are making steady progress toward the ambitious goal of contributing to global sustainable development.

    Safeguarding Ecological Boundaries, Driving Green Transformation

    We integrate environmental protection into every stage of our operations: reducing our carbon footprint through clean technology R&D, optimizing energy consumption with renewable energy applications, and building resource recycling systems to minimize environmental impact.

    In the future, we will conduct systematic environmental risk assessments across our supply chain and progressively transform production processes toward eco-friendly operations, providing technological support to address climate change.

    Empowering Human Potential, Building an Inclusive Future

    We are continuously enhancing our employee development and social inclusion framework: implementing diverse talent mechanisms to ensure equal opportunities and fair advancement; promoting a healthy, balanced work culture while providing mental health support; and advancing our cornerstone program for cultivating technological talent—partnering with universities to train young engineers and launching a female technical mentorship initiative to break professional barriers. Through these efforts, we aim to make technological innovation a driving force for social progress.

    Building a Core of Responsibility, Driving Long-Term Growth

    We are strengthening our ESG governance framework: reinforcing business ethics and compliance to uphold a solid operational foundation, and developing sustainable financial instruments to guide green investments. Looking ahead, we plan to establish an open responsibility ecosystem, collaborating with upstream and downstream partners to implement transparent supply chain management, thereby enhancing the resilience and upgrading the value chain through technological empowerment.

    We engage in photonics, intelligent manufacturing, and other vertical associations, working with industry leaders on technology frontiers and development paths. Future plans include deeper cooperation in green energy alliances and IoT ecosystems, promoting cross-sector integration and joint standards to drive industry upgrades.

    Standardization Organizations

    We help turn innovation into industry benchmarks, participating in laser equipment safety and optical testing standards. Future priorities include carbon neutrality measurement and smart factory data interface standards, enabling standardized industry growth through technology.
