Honoring 20 Years of Pursuing Light: JPT's Bay Area Laser Valley Headquarters Reaches Topping-Out Milestone

December 10 marks a defining moment in JPT's history. On this day, the Bay Area Laser Valley Building - developed and invested in by JPT as its global headquarters and core R&D center - successfully reached its structural topping-out milestone.

Chairman Mr. Huang Zhijia, together with his wife Ms. Zhang Ling; Vice Chairman Mr. Liu Jian; Chief Executive Officer Mr. Penn Cheng; members of the management team; representatives from design, survey, construction, and supervision partners; and the entire project team gathered on site to witness this proud moment. More than the completion of a structure, the building stands as a physical statement of JPT's 20 years of technological depth and industrial ambition - signaling the company's transition into a new phase of growth anchored by a forward-looking strategic headquarters.

Designed by the team led by Academician Meng Jianmin, the new JPT headquarters rises to 119.55 meters and serves as a cornerstone for the company’s future. Since the groundbreaking in June 2023, the project has undergone 30 months of meticulous construction and now stands prominently in the Luhu core area along Shenzhen’s central axis.

Topping-out ceremony

Reaching this milestone on the eve of JPT’s 20th anniversary adds special meaning. More than an expansion of 50,000 square meters, the building is envisioned as an integrated hub combining global management, advanced research, high-end manufacturing, and ecosystem collaboration. The construction journey itself mirrors JPT’s evolution—from focused technological expertise to a more platform-driven and system-level development model.

JPT's commitment to excellence is reflected in every detail of its new headquarters. Throughout the project, the company worked closely with leading partners including Shenzhen General Institute of Architectural Design and Guangdong Dianbai Construction Group. United by a shared dedication to quality and precision, the teams transformed vision into reality - creating a robust, reliable, and future-ready innovation base.

At the topping-out ceremony, Chairman Huang Zhijia reaffirmed JPT's strategic direction:

"Looking ahead, we will continue to advance our 'Light + AI' strategy - deepening our capabilities across new energy, semiconductors, optical communications, and consumer electronics, and accelerating into a new phase of growth."

This headquarters will serve as JPT's central intelligence hub and super laboratory for the "Light + AI" strategy. Upon full operation in 2027, it is expected to significantly accelerate cross-disciplinary innovation and core product development, becoming a powerful engine for future industrial progress.

The topping - out is both a meaningful tribute to JPT's 20 - year journey and the ceremonial starting point for its next chapter.
