JPT Skills Competition 2024 comes to a successful conclusion

Recently, the “Craftsman Cup” Skills Competition, jointly organized by the JPT Party Committee, Trade Union, and Human Resources Department, was launched with great ceremony at the Huizhou campus. Centered around the theme “Promoting Training through Competition, Pursuing Perfection, Embracing Craftsmanship,” the competition aims to foster a culture of skill excellence, enhance a company culture of precision and the pursuit of excellence, and promote the spirit of craftsmanship. The event attracted many technical experts who enthusiastically participated, laying a solid foundation for building a high-skilled talent team.

At the launch ceremony, General Manager Xueping Cheng emphasized that this competition is not only a showcase of skills but also a continuation and inheritance of the company’s culture and spirit. He expressed his hope that the event will serve as a new starting point for promoting craftsmanship, encouraging all employees to approach their work with dedication, continuously improve their skills, and inject robust momentum into the company’s growth.

Promoting Training through Competition, Pursuing Perfection, Embracing Craftsmanship

In the inaugural “Craftsman Cup” Skills Competition, eight skill categories were selected for competition, with employees participating enthusiastically and proactively. From fiber splicing, welding, mechanics, and electrical work to CNC operation and quality inspection, all participants demonstrated exceptional professional skills and the spirit of craftsmanship. Their focus and perseverance during the competition led to skill enhancement, while mutual learning fostered closer team collaboration. This positive attitude exemplifies not only employees' desire for self-improvement but also their commitment to the company’s growth and the essence of craftsmanship.

Throughout the competition, participants excelled in their respective fields. Fiber splicing contestants connected delicate fibers with precision, highlighting their meticulous attention to detail. Welding contestants produced pieces that were not only sturdy but also aesthetically refined, showcasing their mastery in welding. Participants in the mechanics and electrical groups continually pushed the boundaries of speed and accuracy, reflecting a deep understanding of complex systems. This was both a test of speed and quality, and their focus and rigor were met with rounds of applause from the audience.

Commendation Conference

After a week of intense competition, several outstanding participants distinguished themselves in this Craftsmanship Skills Challenge. Company leaders, including Chairman Zhijia Huang, Vice Chairman Jian Liu, Vice General Manager Ming Liu, and Product Line General Manager Xiaojun Zou, attended the award ceremony to present awards to the winners. They congratulated them on their excellent achievements and encouraged everyone to continue embracing the spirit of craftsmanship and relentless pursuit of excellence!

Award-winning representatives Jiaping Huang and Kongjin Lu expressed their gratitude to the “Craftsman Cup” organizing committee for providing a platform to showcase and challenge themselves. They shared that the competition deepened their understanding of the "speed, stability, and precision" central to the spirit of craftsmanship and its importance to daily work. In his closing remarks, Vice Chairman Jian Liu congratulated the outstanding award winners and expressed gratitude to the judges and staff for their hard work. He noted that this skills competition not only aligns with the company’s high-skilled talent development strategy but also promotes a company-wide spirit of technical dedication and pursuit of excellence. Throughout the competition, participants showcased exceptional skills and shared valuable work experiences, fully demonstrating the professionalism of the company's technical backbone. This event has effectively inspired employees’ motivation for growth, further highlighting the company's notable achievements in talent development.

At the awards ceremony, Chairman Zhijia Huang highly commended the professional capabilities and work ethic of the participants.
